Our clients had almost decided to sell their home in favour of a brand new home of similar proportions. This would mean sacrificing their current spectacular setting in favour of all the things that come with a modern show home. The move would have cost in excess of £200k for a similar sized home in a similar area. When agents were asked to appraise their home, the common feedback was that they would not get the quality of the recently added master suite (we had completed a year previously) in any new home. It would help sell their home but did also show up the other more dated areas of the home.
